When we last left off with our photos, it was nearly time for Delaney's birthday.
I've heard that fashion sense gets better as you get older. At least I hope it does.
Someone actually purchased cymbals for a 3 year old. They are now banned from future birthday parties.
Taking a break from watching Delaney open presents.
Presents are done...it's story time.
What a shock...she's coloring.
Ah, perfect. Tiny pieces everywhere.
Guess what holiday is coming up. That's right...Crazy Hat Day!
Delaney's pretty fired up to be able to help decorate the Christmas tree.
Unfortunately, decorating is exhausting.
Kenz and Drew decorate a gingerbread train with as much candy as possible.
Outside for our first and hopefully last big snow. Sorry for the bias. -Ed.
And the winner of the "Had the Most Fun in the Snow" award.... not the kids.
It's never too cold to swing.
The girls got golf clubs for Christmas. Pink ones.
They cooperated for exactly one picture. This is it.
Mackenzie received a school for Christmas so she could practice and get prepared for next year.
Now for a break in the opening of presents to properly moisturize lips.
Daddy's so happy to own stock in Disney. They'll slap an HSM picture on anything if they think it will sell.
Guess who got a gum ball machine for Christmas.
Yep...John Paul's painting toe nails. On the kitchen counter. I smell a new Christmas tradition!
Most families gather around a fire on Chrismas. We gather around the Operation game.
Two horses' butts. No, no...in the stable. In the middle of the picture.
Mackenzie needs one bare foot to be at her best for Wii bowling.
What a surprise. A birthday gift at MeMe's house that's messy enough that you have to remove clothing.
Look carefully. More High School Musical.
Delaney receives her medal for completing her gymnastics class.
Wal-Mart cookie cakes defy gravity.
Guess how old Mackenzie is this year. No...guess again.
Mackenzie listens intently to her teacher during her dance recital.
She concentrates very hard so that everything looks perfect.
Delaney, however, couldn't care less.
And she REALLY doesn't care when someone else besides her sister is on the balance beam.
"Excuse me. You can't take a picture with the stage in the background. It's copyrighted." Oops...too late.
Even when it's 15 degrees outside, they still can't wait to get in the pool.
Uh...check out the plate.
All those kids and not a single spilled beverage. I consider the day a success.
One last photo of the proud 5 year old.
