A View From Above

Last month, Google released an amazing new feature of Google Maps. By clicking a link on any map that you find, you can toggle to an exact representation of the area in a satellite view. The satellite images were detailed enough to create quite an uproar on the internets about invasion of privacy, blah, blah, blah. Turns out the images are all many months old - definitely NOT from this morning while you were skipping work to go play golf.

I was immediately fascinated with the ability to look up famous places and places that I have been and check out their "view from above." As I find interesting places, I'll be posting them here for all to enjoy.

My first set of links are of all of the Major League ballparks - well, most of them anyway. A couple of examples are shown below. To see them all, check out A View From Above - Major League Ballparks.

St. Louis Cardinals
Busch Stadium - St. Louis, MO
Washington Nationals
RFK Stadium - Washington, DC
