It has been a number of months since I put anything new up in the "Mackenzie Says" section of the site, but it certainly hasn't been for the lack of new words. She can now talk in short, choppy sentences that only really make sense to us and only after she repeats them at least once. Usually, pointing is required, but she can usually get her point across. It is really getting to be fun with her now, because you can hold mini-conversations with her, and I have even been able to talk to her on the phone during the day. I admit it was only me asking her rapid fire yes-no questions followed by an abrupt "bye bye, daddy," but it WAS an actual conversation.

While Emily was out running errands the other day, I sat Mackenzie down at the "puter" and got her to say some of her latest and greatest hits. They've been posted on the site for everyone's enjoyment.....have fun.
