After Tony LaRussa blew a gasket and laid into an AP reporter for having the guts to ask if the Cardinals players would be celebrating their "technical" National League Central title, the CUBS made it all irrelevant when they lost a game. Even though LaRussa apparently wanted to win it "on the field," he will have to deal with his division title via a loss by the small bears. Read more:
Tickets go on sale for the Playoffs on Wednesday. Emily will be working the phones and I'll be clicking "reload" on stlcardinals.com. Can't wait. Hopefully, if we get tickets I won't have the agony of watching Rick Ankiel implode again like he did last time I saw a playoff game at Busch.
